Oh Chang Hoon

Sad news comes from the South Korean entertainment industry. Oh Chang Hoon, a member of the K-Pop duo One Two, died after battling cancer at the age of 47.
Reporting from Koreaboo, Oh Chang Hoon died at 6:30 am on Tuesday (14/11).

Oh Chang Hoon is known to be battling stage 4 colon cancer and neuroendocrine cancer, after recently undergoing surgery.

Along with Oh Chang Hoon’s departure, his group member, Song Ho Bum, expressed his condolences to his beloved friend.

In an interview with Sports World, Song Ho Bum explained that Oh Chang Hoon’s health had been weakening over the past month.

“Chang Hoon recently underwent his 8th round of cancer treatment and is getting better, so we hope for the best,” explained Ho Bum.

“However, the neuroendocrine tumor he suffered from worsened rapidly. His health weakened over the past month, and he died while focusing on treatment,” he added.

Song Ho Bum continued by expressing his affection and sorrow for Oh Chang Hoon, who has always made music with him all this time.

“I hope Chang Hoon is no longer in pain. Tell Taeyang (Oh Chang Hoon’s son) not to worry. I enjoy making music with him,” he explained again.

Oh Chang Hoon and Song Ho Bum debuted under JYP Entertainment as K-Pop duo One Two in 2003.

Both are known for their upbeat songs, such as Now ass and Bad Woman. After his activities with One Two, Oh Chang Hoon was active as a DJ and participated in writing songs for K-Drama OSTs.

He married his girlfriend after dating for two years in 2019 and has one son.
