Public is still curious whether the BLACKPINK members, include lisa,will extend their contracts with their current agency, YG Entertainment. Recently, Lisa was reported to have rejected a big offer from YG to stay with the agency.


On Thursday (14/9), Korean media Star News released a report about Lisa’s contract negotiations. The BLACKPINK members who debuted in August 2016 are currently in the final year of their contract with YG Entertainment.

According to the media, Lisa has received several contracts from labels around the world worth tens of millions of dollars. “There are rumors that Lisa has received offers from foreign labels, including Thailand, worth tens of millions of dollars,” wrote Star News.

The media outlet then also claimed that Lisa had rejected two contract offers from YG Entertainment. No joke, the agency which also oversees TREASURE made a contract offer of 50 billion won.

“There are also rumors stating that Lisa had rejected YG’s first offer and recently rejected the second offer. The amount of her contract is reportedly worth ₩50.0 billion KRW,” continued Star News.


In other news, a Thai media outlet reported that Lisa was accompanied by Frédéric Arnault on a trip to her hometown. They said that the alleged couple were dating on a cruise ship on the Chao Phraya River.

Rumors said that Lisa’s parents were on the trip, making it a moment to meet Lisa’s family after previously the idol had been on holiday with the Arnault family. Previously, YG Entertainment had provided a response saying, “We cannot confirm Lisa’s dating news.”
