Arthdal Chronicles

Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” is only a few days away from being broadcast. Before the broadcast, the tvN drama production team presented a scene photo as well as an interview with Jang Dong Gun who played Ta Gon.

“Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” is the title for “Arthdal Chronicles 2”. The story takes place 8 years after season 1 ended. The roles of Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won have been replaced by a new couple namely Lee Joon Gi and Shin Se Kyung.

Dong Gun’s scene photos in “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” show Ta Gon’s great charisma as the first king of Arthdal. That man was filled with an aura of absolute ruler that no one could hinder or deny.

Ta Gon is now transformed into the king of Arthdal who is feared by everyone. He is kind-hearted to his people but terrifying and cruel to his enemies. In the second season, Ta Gon is shown to be more mature than his unstoppable and reckless figure in the past.

Dong Gun also explained the difference in his behavior in Arthdal Chronicles season 2. “Ta Gon in the first part showed a strong and determined attitude to achieve his ambitions and what he wanted. This time, I tried to express the anxiety and sensitivity of someone in power, who has everything,” he added .

Dong Gun added, “”In ‘Arthdal Chronicles : The Sword of Aramun’, my homework was to express more complex emotions in various situations, so I put a lot of effort into increasing my expression and controlling my emotions.”

Meanwhile, “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” will be broadcast starting September 9 in the slot Saturday-Sunday night. Different from season 1, this second season will not be broadcast on Netflix but Disney+ Korea.
